Dr. Rymsky Labat

Dr. Labat is a life-long educator currently serving as Director of Special Education at Pass Christian School District and as CEO of The Education Annex by Milestones LLC.

 

Dr. Labat is passionate about the mission about The 15 White Coats. She feels the work of organization is paramount as to the frontline fight against systemic disparities in healthcare and providing opportunities, while limiting barriers, for people of color to pursue medicine.

 

She sees The 15 White Coats as a beacon of hope with a laser focus on educational excellence and preparation. Additionally, she is excited by The 15 White Coats work to provide valuable mentorships and leveling of the playing field by providing the initial financial support so that students of color may pursue their dreams of becoming a physician.
