Upon completion of her post-doc she stayed with NIAID and was the Vice Chair and Scientific Coordinator of the animal care and use committee.
Hillary learned about The 15 White Coats during a large oncology conference in which she heard Dr. Ledet speak and was very inspired by his story, drive, and passion.
Hillary has been in clinical research for 16 years and knows that in order for clinical trials to be applicable to all people they must be representative of all people. One of the first steps in achieving that goal is to have more clinical trials be led by doctors of all backgrounds. She believes in the mission of The 15 White Coats and looks forward to doing her part to help.

Besides traveling for work, Hillary enjoys traveling to visit friends and family all over the country. She also enjoys traveling back to her home state of Louisiana to cheer on her LSU Tigers! Hillary loves to have friends over for game watching parties and cookouts, and enjoys working in the yard. Although she is living in North Carolina, she hasn't yet sworn a basketball allegiance to either UNC or Duke!
