Currently, African Americans make up less than 5% of U.S. physicians. The HBCU Tethered Tour is an intentional effort to close this gap by providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities to underrepresented students.
The 15 White Coats® is determined to reinforce positive imagery in learning spaces worldwide. Our iconic photos are used as an avenue to inspire the next generation of diverse doctors, lawyers, dentists, veterinarians, etc.
Our mission is to develop scholarships, facilitate access to culturally relevant literature, and inspire and mentor the youth of tomorrow. Every dollar donated to us is used to further our mission.
How You Can Help
The 15 White Coats® wants to place culturally relevant age-appropriate literature in classrooms nationwide. In order to do so, we need to design the literature boxes and purchase the books.
Volunteer time to mentor a pre-medical or medical student. Make a donation. Tell an educator about our poster program.
